Chicken dry recipe !!!

Hi Guys !!!

First time in my life i am writing my own recipe, it is very simple one but wanted to share this recipe with everyone because my hubby tasted it and said he liked it, he even questioned "How did you do it ?", you may ask what's so special in that, actually it is very rare to get good comment from my hubby who is a very good cook and a foodie, he hardly praises a recipe, unless it is really very good and has something unique in it. This Chicken recipe has got good comments three times in a row, so here it is. Ingredients required are given below;
  • Chicken 250 grams
  • Chilli Powder 2 tablespoon
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2 tablespoon
  • Coriander Powder 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin Powder 1/2 tablespoon
  • Garam Masala 1/2 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion 1 ( Finely chopped)
  • tomato 1/2 (chopped)
  • Fennel seeds 1 tablespoon
  • Curry Leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • Refined oil 5 tablespoon
1. Marinate the chicken with salt, turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder for an hour (I usually keep it in freezer).
2. Finely chop the onion and tomato and keep aside.
3. In the pan heat oil, put the fennel seeds and curry leaves, once the fennel seeds starts turning brown, fry the chopped onions till it turns brown and the fry the tomato.
4. Put the marinated chicken in and saute for 3 - 4 minutes and add 1/2 cup of water, close the pan with a lid, wait for the gravy to become dry.
5. Once done garnish with coriander leaves and serve with dosa, chappathi or rice.
(Guys i seriously forgot to take a pic, so got this pic from net, but the recipe looked similar)
